Just steps from clean, white sand beaches, with ocean views from every level, this exceptional home is the serenity and relaxation you’ve been seeking. Beach access is directly in front of the house. Your doorstep is precisely 100 steps from the smooth sandy shore. In daylight, the warm sea glitters with diamonds of sunlight and opalescant hues of abalone shell. In moonlight, whales and dolphins breach the bioluminescent surface, palm fronds rustle in wind, city lights twinkle. The sugar-white sand beaches of Puerto Peñasco boast the most colorful seashells on planet Earth. This two-story hacienda has a large rooftop terrace boasting 360 degree views of the whitewashed city and sparkling ocean. Just the spot for margaritas at sunset! The home has a bright, airy, open design. There are two living rooms (one first floor and one upstairs) as well as two en-suite master bedrooms (one first floor and one upstairs). The first floor living room has a flat screen TV, and upstairs living room has a SmartTV. (Stream your favorite shows or movies on fiber optic internet.) The second story also boasts a large balcony with three shaded areas. An elegant exterior curved staircase makes it easy to float between levels for alfresco dining or socializing time. Sliding glass doors open up the living areas to the patios and balconies, ushering in the fresh air and sunlight, making alfresco dining and entertaining a breeze! Prepare a feast of tortillas, tamales, camarones costa brava, pescado zarandeado or cochinita pibil in the fully-stocked gourmet kitchen. Set alfresco dining tables with our crisp, white dishware and elegant pewter cutlery. Revel in the aromas of fresh lime, oregano and cumin, the warmth of the sun on your skin and the soothing music of the surf. Parking is available for 4-5 cars. 2 cars can be parked inside the gated courtyard and 3 in front of the home.

Neighborhood

Las Conchas is an upscale neighborhood with 24/7 patrolling security. It’s close enough to town to enjoy but also away and fairly quiet. While some areas of Puerto Penasco are rocky, the beachfront directly in front of Casa KaraMia is clean, sandy and highly desirable. This once sleepy fishing town in northern Mexico is experiencing revitalization as an upscale vacation destination with a thriving enclave of Canadian and US expats. Puerto Peñasco is one of the safest areas of Mexico, with a booming luxury resort community. Just two-hundred miles from Arizona, it's often called “Arizona’s beach”. You can drive from San Diego in five hours. Puerto Penasco has beautiful beaches, warm, turquoise sea water and gorgeous, ethereal Sonoran desert landscapes. Outdoor adventure activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, and boating abound here! The area also draws many eco-minded travelers. The nearby UNESCO World Heritage Site El Pinacate and Gran Desierto de Altar Biosphere Reserve is known for its volcanic craters and massive dune fields. Puerto Peñasco is home to the CEDO (Intercultural Center for the Study of Desert and Ocean Animals). Here you can take part in eco tours and learn about the biodiversity in the region. The Sea of Cortez is world-renowned for whale watching between February and mid-May.

A car is recommended to best enjoy the highlights of this area. However, the beach is just a quick stroll from the front door. Rocky Point Airport, MMPE, (also known as Mar de Cortes Airport) is an international airport located in Puerto Peñasco (known as Rocky Point), Mexico.
